Start in Downloads or another folder you want to organize.
- Review the rules
Read, edit, and reorder the rules saved with that folder.
- Choose manual or Auto mode
Keep starting runs yourself, or let Pro handle new files with approved rules.

How folder rules work in Base and Pro
In Base, you start every organize run yourself. Organice applies readable rules to the folder you chose and leaves unmatched files where they are.
With Pro, Auto mode is switched on one folder at a time. It files new arrivals with rules you already approved by keeping an organize run. A short pass runs when files arrive, then stops.
Auto mode stays local, too
Pro automation uses the folder rules already on your Mac. It needs no AI, account, or cloud service.
